1st time and last i was in one of these i felt like i was going to faint, like a blackout and felt almost in panic because of that, I wish to know what happened with me, I even had to make streght with my neck to not leave my head go back, ohterwise I think I would have fainted or worst…
I never really got to like this ride cause the Carny who operated it was a real dick! He kicked my brother and I out cause we where in an upside down position. I see pictures here with people doing the exact same thing! What where we doing wrong?
If he was SUPERVISING they wouldn’t be upsidedown or sideways. The book says it in english and BOLD print not to allow any flipping or sitting forward.
That operator doesn’t care. And that’s how people get hurt. If the brakes are engaged in an emergency the seats will slam down and people who are not prepared to land are injured. It’s common SENSE!!! Something the riders seldom have!

justin i run that gravitron in the photo and have done so for many years no one has ever been hurt by going upside down and you dont just slam on the brakes that would damage the ride and put the riders at risk the breaks are eased on and the beds slowly slide down never do they slam down and allways before you start to slow the ride you get on the mic and ask the ridres to turn right way up
If the brakes engage, it takes a few seconds to slow it down enough to lower the effect, and the panels with no one on them would slide down first with a loud bang. So once you heard that, and saw and felt the grip letting go, you quickly flip back around ( only takes a second or two). And in worst case scenario…you bump your head on the floor gently, because your not really falling, so much as sliding.
Besides, kids are resilient. A little bump on the head won’t stop them from having a good time!
I agree with Mick that I don’t think going upside down is that big a deal. I have done that in this ride many times, and have never had a problem nor have I seen anyone else get hurt really bad from it. I have slid down the wall when the ride was slowing down and have gotten a mild clunk on the floor, but that’s about it. At times when I have been on the ride where they had an operator who would yell at people for every little thing, I’ve been tempted to tell him to chill, but I don’t think that would go over very well.

How bad are the G’s in the center? If you leaned too far to any direction, would you lose your balance? If so, how bad would it be?
