  2. My all time favorite! Unfortunately I only know of one that was ever in the United States… at the 1982 Worlds Fair in Knoxville,TN for only 6 months. It was called “Peter Pan” and I rode it well over 100 times! There are still some in operation the last time I researched it in Mexico, South Africa and Europe. Weber is gone, but his rides live on! Traumboot forever!!!

  3. Eddie… I remember seeing that one at the 82 world’s fair too. There was a Huss Ranger at Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville for a while also.

  6. I have the privilege of riding the Traum Boot three or four times in the late 80’s and early 90’s in a place called Hull (England) The ride didn’t mess around! It started swinging left twice and right twice then you where at the top and over, with just five maneuvers you were doing a 360.
I just found out its been scrapped and I’m so gutted! Traum Boot stands for in English DREAM BOAT.

    Bring it back please.

  7. Actually I operate this ride in Israel, at the Superland. It’s really old but working fine.

  8. There was a Traum Boot in Tel Aviv’s Luna Park, first time installed in 1989. The ride used to includes 3.3/4 loops on each direction.

It has been moved to another amusement park called Superland in Rishon L’Zion (Israel), well maintained and works perfectly, but the ride has been changed to more swinging and only 1-2 loops on one side (I guess it meant to fit it to the younger audience).
    Still a top favorite.

  10. Indiana Beach is installing this ride for the 2024 season. It is assembled, but there is no queuing nor station for it yet. Hopefully, it’ll open soon.
